Incredibly speedy Microwaved CD Windspinner. Stashbust project number 13

By now you are probably wondering how much stuff I have accumulated in my house. Well….I have at least 100 hundred old cds set aside for craft work. I am using some of them for mosaics. However I made this quickie CD windspinner today.20140622_1238042014-06-22 12.37.47 The pattern is produced in the microwave. It took me less than 5 minutes to make.

Instructions.

I used two cds which happened to have a green coloured plastic facing.  You could use ordinary ones.

1. Put each CD in microwave for 5 seconds.

2 Don’t panic!

3 Stick fractured metallic sides together.

4 Tie up!

5.Make a cup of tea and pat yourself on the back for all that hard work.
